JUNGIAN SOMATICS™
Animating our inner lives

“The main interest of my work is not concerned with the treatment of neurosis but rather with the approach to the numinous. But the fact is that the approach to the numinous is the real therapy and inasmuch as you attain to the numinous experiences you are released from the curse of pathology.”
C.G. Jung

As a Jungian Analyst, the creator of Jungian Somatics™, a somatic expert, and an educator with decades of experience, my work bridges the depth of the unconscious with the wisdom of the body.

Jungian Somatics™ honours the intelligence of the body and the symbolic language of the psyche. It’s a way of working with movement, sensation, dreams, image, and the unconscious to cultivate mystical aliveness, a state in which we reconnect with our deepest vitality, meaning, and soul.

Life can pull us into stagnation, fear, and disconnection. We can lose contact with the preciousness of being alive. Much of our suffering begins here, in the places where we become separated from soul, instinct, body, feeling, and the deeper symbolic life that wants to reach us.

Becoming a Jungian Analyst is not simply a credential. It’s an initiation.

Training typically takes four to eight years and requires hundreds of hours in the patient chair, years of supervision and control analysis with senior analysts, intensive study of Jung’s Collected Works, and rigorous oral and written examinations. This process asks us to walk through the fire of our own psyche first, so that we can sit with another person’s suffering, dreams, symbols, complexes, and soul with humility, steadiness, and depth.

In addition to my analytic training, my work emerges from many years of clinical practice specializing in personal and collective trauma through an anti-oppressive lens. I have taught and presented Jungian Somatics™ in Jungian, academic, clinical, hospital, crisis, and community settings across Canada, the U.S., and internationally.

My work is an invitation to rediscover your own spark, to listen to what stirs in your depths, and to step into a more embodied, soulful, and fully alive way of living.
