ABOUT THIS WEBINAR

Active imagination is one of Jung's most profound contributions to depth psychology — a method of engaging directly with the unconscious through image, movement, sound, and symbol. In this pre-recorded webinar, we explore how the body becomes the primary site of this dialogue.

Through a somatic lens, active imagination is not only a psychological practice but a deeply embodied one. We will explore how to listen to the body's imagery, how unconscious material surfaces through sensation and movement, and how this practice can deepen self-knowledge and psychological integration.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Key aspects we will explore

Through both a theoretical and experiential approach

The foundations of Jungian active imagination and how the body participates in this process.

How somatic sensation and movement can serve as gateways to unconscious imagery and symbolic material.

Practical approaches to embodied active imagination that can be integrated into personal or clinical practice.

How to work with what arises — holding, witnessing, and integrating the material that emerges through the body.

FROM JANE

From Jane

Active imagination has been one of the most transformative practices in my own psychological development. When I began to bring the body fully into this process — not as a backdrop but as the primary instrument — something shifted profoundly in how I understood both myself and the unconscious.

In this webinar, I share what I have learned through years of personal practice and clinical work: that the body holds imagery we have not yet found words for, and that by learning to listen somatically, we open a richer and more direct channel to the psyche's depths.

DISCLAIMER

This webinar is not intended as a trauma recovery offering and is intended for participants in an emotionally resourced place in their lives. If you are currently receiving mental health support, it is recommended you discuss this offering with your care provider to jointly determine how engaging in this program might impact your overall well-being. We will be exploring the unconscious psyche, which can be destabilizing for people in crisis or emotional overwhelm.
