ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
The hand is the most frequently symbolized part of the human body for good reason. Throughout history, hands have symbolized a myriad of aspects of the human experience and express aspects of the unconscious and conscious psyche, both personal and collective. Hands are a powerful somatic tool to awaken and create dialogue between the conscious and unconscious psyche and to explore the alchemical intersection of soma and psyche.
In this 2.5-hour webinar, we will explore the multi-faceted symbolism of hands through video art, myth, religion, movement, drawing, touch, texture, and writing — to dialogue with and awaken powerful unconscious and resourcing material within our psyches.
