“As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being.”
C.G. Jung

I’m Jane Clapp, a Jungian Psychoanalyst holding membership in the International Association for Analytical Psychology and a Registered Psychotherapist. For more than 25 years, I have immersed myself in the realms of movement therapy, somatic exploration, and embodiment education.

In my practice, I am driven by the conviction that the depth and splendour of our humanity unfold through a profound exploration of the intricate bond between body and psyche. I firmly uphold the belief in the inherent possibility for more authentic living, vitality, and gifts harboured within each individual, awaiting discovery and revivification to propel them toward lives filled with greater meaning, depth and abundance.

My role is to guide individuals in the unveiling of their personal meaning, innate resilience, and inner wisdom, facilitating a journey toward their Selves or Souls. By guiding people in their individuation process via longer term Jungian Psychonalysis and supportive somatic practices, including embodied dream analysis, intuitive movement, expressive arts, and active imagination, I aim to anchor our exploration within the mythopoetic realm of human existence, thus enabling a deeper connection with oneself and a fuller expression of the Self.
